Map Labels — every monument on your Rust map, as JSON

One console/RCON command that reads every monument on the currently loaded map and returns its name and position as JSON — for labelling your own live map, whatever you build it in.

What it does

How Map Labels works

Zero game hooks, so the cost to your server is nothing. It never writes to disk, never touches gameplay, and a player pressing F1 can't reach it — console and RCON only. It is what labels the monuments on the map section of rustportugalia.pt.

Features

What you get

  • Read-onlyNothing written, nothing changed.
  • Console & RCON onlyNot reachable from the player console.
  • Zero hooksIt does nothing until you ask.

Requirements

What you need

  • Rust server with Oxide/uMod or Carbon.
  • Something that talks RCON (your website backend, a bot, a script).

FAQ

Questions

Why not use a public map site?

Because this reads the map that is actually loaded on your server, not an estimate from a seed.
